Paris Saint-Germain beat Le Mans 3-1 in the sixth round of Ligue 1 on Saturday. Lucas Beraldo put Paris ahead from the penalty spot in the 19th minute at the Parc des Princes, and Louis Mafouta equalized after halftime following a video review. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, in the 61st minute, and Maghnes Akliouche, in the 68th from a Warren Zaïre-Emery pass, secured the win.
"Knowing that we expected to face difficulties, we can say that the team was brave," coach Luis Enrique told club channel PSG TV. He added: "We still need more to climb up to the top of the league."
Paris now have 11 points. Looking ahead to the Champions League game at Manchester City, Luis Enrique said: "Away from home and against an English team, it will of course be difficult, but we are ready."
