Amazon MGM Studios has released the second official trailer for 'Ali G: Who Iz I?'. Sacha Baron Cohen once again plays his character Ali G and makes his directorial debut with the film. Morgana Robinson is the only other officially confirmed cast member so far.
In the story, after twenty years of idleness, Ali G learns that his long-term girlfriend Julie is eight months pregnant. He travels to America to reclaim his former glory and runs into adversaries who threaten him and his unborn child. Unlike the scripted 2002 comedy 'Ali G Indahouse', the new film takes more of a mockumentary approach like 'Borat', according to Dark Horizons.
Amazon MGM releases the film in US cinemas on October 23. In Germany it opens a day earlier, on October 22, distributed by Sony Pictures, according to kino.de.
