US humanoid maker Figure has published the recording of its internal all-hands meeting on YouTube. CEO Brett Adcock said the company's roadmap had completely changed over the past year and the team had doubled. According to him, the next robot, Figure 04, has reached design lock – the design is final and first parts are shipping. Battery load and thermal testing come next; Adcock gave no date for production or market launch.

According to the presentation, Figure built its 1,000th Figure 03 robot over the summer and cut costs by more than 90 percent compared with its predecessor; absolute prices were not disclosed. For its data programme “Index”, in which people upload everyday videos, the company reports 37.5 million videos from 112 countries. Figure has also secured an initial 3.5 billion dollars of computing capacity from data centre operator Nscale.

Adcock also teased the next version of the robot model Helix and announced an even larger model expected to be ready within weeks. None of this has been independently verified: all figures and assessments come from the company's own presentation.
