Tobis has released the German trailer for 'Das Debüt – Ihr großer Auftritt' (original title 'The Debut'). The film is written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg. Julianne Moore stars alongside Paul Giamatti, Halle Bailey and Havana Rose Liu. It opens in German cinemas on 21 January 2027.

Moore plays Mona, a shy housewife who answers a notice for an amateur theatre group's audition for a new musical and unexpectedly lands a small supporting role. Under the demanding rehearsal methods of eccentric director Jerry (Giamatti), her talent awakens – along with an ambition that soon knows no bounds, until she even takes on the director himself.
