Gildan Activewear will release its third-quarter 2026 results on Thursday, November 5, before the market opens, the Canadian company announced on October 21. A conference call with CEO Glenn J. Chamandy and CFO Luca Barile follows at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Alongside Gildan and American Apparel, the group now owns Hanes, Bali, Playtex, Maidenform and Bonds, and its company description explicitly lists underwear and intimates among its products.

The previous quarter already showed how much the acquired intimates business weighs. In the second quarter, sales rose 72.3 percent to $1.58 billion, mainly due to Hanesbrands, FashionUnited reported. Retail sales climbed from $137.1 million to $813.1 million. According to ASI Central, however, the company posted a loss of about $50 million, compared with a profit of $137.9 million a year earlier.

For 2026, Gildan expects revenue at the low end of its $6.0 billion to $6.2 billion range and adjusted earnings per share of $4.65 to $4.75. Hanesbrands Australia is to be sold to BBFIT Investments for about $490 million, with closing expected in the second half of 2026 and proceeds earmarked for debt reduction. In July, Chamandy said: "We delivered strong results this quarter as our teams continued to execute with discipline against our strategic priorities."
