Exactly one year after the first episode launched, studio AdHoc is celebrating its superhero adventure Dispatch, which it says has now been played by more than five million people. For the anniversary, Deluxe Edition owners get two new modes for free – everyone else can upgrade for $10.99, currently 20 per cent off on Steam and Xbox.
Commentary mode offers more than 16 hours of crew or cast commentary, featuring Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey and Erin Yvette among others; the commentary adapts to the player's choices. Storyboard mode instead plays every episode with the original animatics – the rough sketches from pre-production.
On 9 December, Dispatch also arrives on iOS, Android and Google Play Games on PC, rebuilt for touch controls and portrait play. The first four episodes are free and the full game costs $19.99; China and Japan are excluded. AdHoc also announced a physical Deluxe Edition for PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch 2 and a live concert in Los Angeles on 3 December.
