Napoli coach Massimiliano Allegri played up but also put into perspective Saturday's Serie A match against Roma at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. "It matters a lot, they're a team that is doing very well. Gasperini is doing a really excellent job," Allegri said Friday. "But it's not the last game of the season. It's important, but we're only at matchday eight."

Napoli beat Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League in midweek but lost at Venezia in their last league game. Allegri said the aim was to get back in touch with the top four. He said Amir Rrahmani had a fever, Scott McTominay was still a little behind and a decision would be made on Frank Anguissa. "All the others are available," he said.

Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini will not hold the usual pre-match news conference, Italian media reported. No reason was given.
