Stone Island has revived its 'No Seasons' project, which brand founder Massimo Osti pursued between 1989 and 1994. The idea behind it: clothing that evolves over time instead of following the seasonal calendar. According to Highsnobiety, it is the first No Seasons collection since 1994. The face of the campaign is British rapper Skepta. He wears the 41NS001 hooded jacket in Tela Resinata, an evolution of the 'Tela Stella' fabric with which Stone Island's history began.

The new edition is based on a single jacket pattern made in six fabrics: Tela Resinata, Nylon Prismatico-TC, Raso Gommato, David-TC, Crinkle Reps NY and Panno. All versions are dyed in the lead grey 'piombo', so the material alone defines each one's character. The jacket has a three-dimensional hood with a drawstring, two chest pockets with concealed zips and adjustable snap cuffs. For Tela Resinata, cotton canvas is impregnated on both sides with pigmented resins in contrasting tones; according to Overstandard, it is half recycled cotton.

According to the design team, the single piombo tone better emphasises the different materials and how differently they absorb dye. The David fabric, Highsnobiety reports, is pressure-dyed at 130 degrees. At the launch, Mike Skinner, who performed with The Streets on 'Saturday Night Live UK', wore the glossy Nylon Prismatico version. Skepta also appears in the short film 'Community as a Form of Research' on Stone Island's YouTube channel.
