Bayern Munich will again be without Jamal Musiala for Wednesday's Champions League match against Arsenal (21:00 CEST) and Sunday's Bundesliga game against SC Freiburg, Sky Sport reports. According to the broadcaster, the Germany international is still limited to individual training and the club does not want to take any risks.

Musiala suffered a muscle-fibre tear in his right thigh while warming up before Germany's Nations League opener against the Netherlands. According to Sky he could return before the end of October, with the German Cup tie at 1. FC Magdeburg on 28 October one option. After the 6-1 win over Leipzig, sporting director Max Eberl said he did not think Musiala would be ready for Arsenal, adding that he was being brought back “slowly, slowly” but would return in October.

The timetable matters for national coach Jürgen Klopp: according to media reports, he will name his squad for the Nations League matches in Serbia on 13 November and against the Netherlands in Berlin on 16 November on 5 November.
