Several Germany internationals will meet when Bayern Munich host Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday (21:00 CEST, Allianz Arena). Captain Manuel Neuer is a doubt: the 40-year-old missed the 6-1 win over RB Leipzig with a foot problem. Sporting director Max Eberl said there had simply been a little fluid in the foot and that the club would see whether he is ready by Wednesday. If Neuer is out, Germany goalkeeper Jonas Urbig is expected to start again.

With Michael Olise suspended, UEFA's predicted line-up has Lennart Karl moving to the right of Bayern's attack. Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlović are expected in midfield, while Kai Havertz could start as a false nine for Arsenal. The Londoners have six points from two games; Bayern have four after a 5-0 win over Bodø/Glimt and a 3-3 draw in Stavanger.

According to Bild, national coach Jürgen Klopp plans to watch from the stands. Whether coach Vincent Kompany, who according to Eberl has been battling an infection, will be on the touchline is due to be clarified at Tuesday's 16:00 press conference.
