TUI Cruises is extending its burlesque offering to another ship. The production 'Lovelesque' premieres on Mein Schiff 5 at the end of October, the trade site Schiffe und Kreuzfahrten reports, citing a social media post by the cruise line on 16 October. To stage it, the Studio on Deck 4, a second entertainment venue much smaller than the theatre, was redesigned while the ship remained in service. The show carries a surcharge; other formats included in the fare will continue to take place there.

The show runs for 60 minutes with a 15-minute interval, and the audience is seated in three zones named Diamond, Rouge and Velvet. 'Lovelesque' is due to start on the Mediterranean leg or the transatlantic crossing that follows. In winter the ship sails 14-day Caribbean itineraries from and to La Romana in the Dominican Republic.

The concept builds on the burlesque evenings TUI Cruises already stages on Mein Schiff Relax and Mein Schiff Flow under the name 'La Cage'. On Mein Schiff Relax the show has 80 seats per performance according to a tour operator and is open only to guests aged 18 and over.
