Hansi Flick has named a 23-man squad for Barcelona’s Champions League match at Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night at the Parc des Princes, the third round of the league phase. Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong are among those included. Defenders Jules Koundé and Eric García are missing.
Both were injured in Saturday’s 5-2 win at Real Betis. The club said Eric García has a right thigh injury and is expected to be out for three to four weeks. Koundé sprained his left ankle, and Barcelona said his progress will determine his availability for the Clásico against Real Madrid on Oct. 25. Andreas Christensen is also unavailable.
Flick’s defensive options include Pau Cubarsí, Alejandro Balde, João Cancelo, Gerard Martín and youngster Xavi Espart. Martín was substituted at halftime against Betis as a precaution. Flick and Pedri will speak to the media in Paris on Monday before training at the Parc des Princes.
