Sebastian Fundora remains WBC super welterweight champion. In Las Vegas he caught unbeaten challenger Ermal Hadribeaj in the final seconds of the 12th and last round; Hadribeaj could not get up and referee Thomas Taylor stopped it. Hadribeaj had earlier been docked two points, in round three for holding and in round 11, The Sporting Tribune reports.

Asked whether the winner of Jaron Ennis vs Josh Kelly was his next opponent, Fundora immediately said yes: “We are going to break them down.”

The co-main event for the vacant WBA featherweight title did not take place. Brandon Figueroa had been stripped of the belt after missing weight. According to a statement by Tomoki Kameda, the fight was cancelled because of Figueroa's excess weight and ill health; the promoters and the WBA promised him priority for the next title fight. “But this is not the end,” Kameda wrote.
