FC Augsburg lost 4-3 (3-1 at half-time) at newly promoted SV Elversberg on Matchday 6. As early as the 4th minute Finn Dahmen saved a penalty from Lukas Petkov, who then put away the rebound to give Elversberg the lead. There were four penalties in total; in stoppage time Elversberg's Noel Futkeu hit the bar from the spot.
In addition, a goal in the 79th minute was ruled out for offside and a penalty for Augsburg in the 86th minute was overturned. Augsburg are now without a win in four games.
Dahmen is part of national coach Jürgen Klopp's goalkeeping group and, according to fussballdaten, was the only player named in both of Klopp's squads for this autumn's Nations League games.
