Bayern Munich drew 3-3 at Viking Stavanger on Tuesday in the second round of the Champions League league phase after trailing 2-0 at halftime. Gianni Stensness put the Norwegians in front in the second minute, and Peter Christiansen made it 2-0 in the 38th. Harry Kane converted a penalty in the 54th, equalized six minutes later, and Luis Díaz put Bayern ahead 3-2 in the 71st.

Moments later Michael Olise was shown a second yellow card. After a tactical foul he threw the ball into the face of Viking captain Zlatko Tripic, according to Sky Sport, and a video review did not change the decision. It was the first sending-off of his professional career, and he will be suspended for Bayern's next Champions League game against Arsenal. Herman Haugen then equalized for Viking in the 90th.

"It's our own fault today," coach Vincent Kompany said, according to the club, calling the red card "obviously stupid." Kane said: "We just made too many simple errors away against a good team." Bayern have four points from two games.
