Creative director Stefano Gallici presented the Spring/Summer 2027 collection for Belgian fashion house Ann Demeulemeester in Paris on 3 October. According to PMG Media Group, it is called “Lonesome Heaven”. Marie Claire Ukraine reports that it was sparked by a drive through the desert on a trip to Los Angeles, which reminded Gallici of his youth in north-eastern Italy near the Slovenian border. “In the desert, life seems reduced to its bare essentials,” Gallici is quoted as saying.
The palette is limited to white, black and a dusty blue. According to PMG, Gallici showed distressed denim, bleached cargo trousers, tuxedos that look destroyed or turned inside out and aviator-style leather jackets with a worn patina, alongside tulle, silk crepon and ruched jersey. Victorian and Edwardian influences meet military details and lingerie references.
Musician Ethel Cain closed the show in a black Chantilly lace dress developed with Gallici; Chelsea Wolfe performed live and Josh Homme walked as a model.
