AC Milan host city rivals Inter at San Siro on Saturday at 8:45 p.m. local time in the 10th round of Serie A. The visitors are favored on form: Inter are unbeaten with eight wins and a draw and share the lead with Lazio on 25 points. Milan are fifth with 18 points and lost their last game to Bologna. In derbies, however, Milan have a strong run, unbeaten in seven meetings with Inter in all competitions.
"We have to be extremely clear with our fans and make them understand that it will take time," Milan coach Ruben Amorim said. He will be without Tomori, while Rabiot, Gila and Moreira are available, he said. Inter coach Cristian Chivu said: "For me there are no favorites in the derby, because there is so much pride and so much ambition."
At 41 and 46, Amorim and Chivu are the youngest pair of coaches in a league derby since 2013, according to Milan. Marco Guida will referee.
