Fury-Joshua undercard: Hitchins out 'at this point', says Rafael – Zuffa eyes 2027
Richardson Hitchins will not box in Cardiff for now, according to reporter Dan Rafael. Zuffa Boxing is said to be planning for him in early 2027 – leaving a Keyshawn Davis fight up in the air.

The undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua in Cardiff on 11 December appears to have lost a candidate. According to US journalist Dan Rafael, quoted by MiddleEasy, a fight between Richardson Hitchins and Keyshawn Davis is "not happening on Fury-Joshua at this point if at all". Zuffa Boxing, with whom Hitchins is signed, is making other plans for him in early 2027. Rafael named no opponent, venue or date.
The welterweight fight between the two had been under discussion since September. On 26 October Hitchins insisted that neither he nor his team had turned down a fight with Davis. Rafael says Davis is a promotional free agent after Top Rank released him with one fight left on his contract, and he also criticised Davis's purse expectations.
Davis is unbeaten in 15 pro fights (10 KOs). Hitchins gave up his world title at super lightweight to box at welterweight for Zuffa.
