Underwear and loungewear brand Skims opened its first Massachusetts store on October 23 on Boston Wharf Road in Boston's Seaport, The Patriot Ledger reports. Until now, Skims was only available in the state through department stores such as Bloomingdale's in Chestnut Hill. Another store at the Prudential Center is planned, though no date has been set, the paper said.

According to Boston radio station WROR, citing WWD, Skims currently operates 27 stores. It aims for 55 company-operated stores by the end of 2026 and more than 100 by 2027. Besides flagships in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, it has locations in Mexico and Dubai.

Co-founders Kim Kardashian, Jens Grede and Emma Grede link the expansion to the fact that about 80 percent of Skims purchases happen in physical stores, WROR reported. In late 2025 the company raised 225 million dollars and is valued at around five billion dollars, according to Retail Dive.
