European Lingerie Group (ELG), parent of Mannheim-based lingerie and shapewear brand Felina, has filed for insolvency, TextilWirtschaft reports. Its production subsidiary Lauma Fabrics has been sold, and it is uncertain whether the long-planned takeover by Rockpool will still go ahead, the trade paper said.
According to TextilWirtschaft, goods are apparently no longer being delivered and Felina staff in Mannheim are still waiting for their salaries. ELG and Felina chief executive Indrek Rahumaa has not responded to inquiries for months, the report said. In August, the paper had already reported halted deliveries, a closed store in Mannheim and unpaid wages.
London-listed special purpose acquisition company Rockpool Acquisitions had planned to buy ELG. In September 2025 it pushed completion back to the second quarter of 2026 because ELG was behind on payments for transaction costs, Investing.com reported.
