Athletic Bilbao rout Prat 6-1 in Copa del Rey as academy trio score late
Athletic Bilbao beat Catalan amateur club AE Prat 6-1 to reach the Copa del Rey second round, with coach Edin Terzić urging patience with the club's young players.

Maroan Sannadi, Robert Navarro and Nico Serrano scored in the first half on Thursday for a heavily rotated Athletic side, with Gustavo Reinke pulling one back for Prat. Academy substitutes Vizcay, Imga and Selton Sánchez then scored within a few minutes late in the game.
"Today some of the boys had the chance to show themselves, but please, let them breathe," Terzić said, according to El Gol Digital. He said they first needed to get closer to the team's level. Espanyol were knocked out by Sestao River on Tuesday.
The second round is scheduled for Dec. 2. Athletic host Real Sociedad in the Basque derby at San Mamés on Sunday.
