U.S. President Donald Trump voted early on Saturday with first lady Melania Trump at the Palm Beach County elections office in West Palm Beach, Florida. Asked whether he had voted a straight Republican ticket, he said: “Very much so.” Asked about corruption allegations, he pointed to Minnesota, Maine and Los Angeles, calling that the Democrats' corruption, “and that includes the Jeffrey Epstein case.” In the evening, Trump addressed a rally in Perry, Georgia, where Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson was also expected.

Also on Saturday, former President Barack Obama appeared in Cleveland. He spoke of “two years of chaos and cruelty and corruption and incompetence” and accused Trump of starting “an unnecessary war” that nobody had asked for. Obama campaigned for gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton and Senate hopeful Sherrod Brown. He criticized Acton's rival Vivek Ramaswamy over a campaign ad featuring Acton's biological mother, saying there was no line he would not cross. Ramaswamy has defended the ad. Obama then traveled to Detroit to back Abdul El-Sayed.

Election Day is Nov. 3. In a New York Times/Siena College poll released on Oct. 21, Democrats led among likely voters in the congressional race by 52% to 41%, while Trump's approval rating in that group stood at 36%.
