Champions Arsenal beat Everton 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday to draw level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City. Both teams have 21 points, with City ahead on goal difference.
Ezri Konsa opened the scoring from a corner, his first goal for the club and Arsenal's first from a corner this season. Gabriel Magalhaes headed in a Ben White cross for the second on his 200th Premier League appearance. Arsenal played without Bukayo Saka.
"It's a big win for us," Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said. Everton manager David Moyes said: "We never gave them anything easy but in the end it just wasn't enough." Everton have lost back-to-back league games and are still without an away win this season.
