Ski Aggu released his new album 'Ski Aggu Musik' on 16 October with little advance notice. At the end of 2025 he had announced a break for a work-and-travel stint in Australia, returning in April 2026 with the single 'Geld'. This week the record entered the official German albums chart at number one – according to GfK Entertainment his third chart-topping album after 'Denk mal drüber nach…' and 'Wilmersdorfs Kind'.
Musikexpress critic Rebecca Spilker calls Ski Aggu 'an unreliable narrator' whose ironic self-presentation is part of the concept. She had criticised sexist lines on his previous album, but now sees more self-irony and humour, noting that the new work has a high density of self-mocking gags. The hardtekk tracks take centre stage, while songs such as 'Hä?' and '384 Tage' add different colours and moods.
According to watson, 'Verschwommen', recorded with Ericson, is about heartache and longing for summer. The video is the official music video on Ski Aggu's YouTube channel aggu31.
