Two Door Cinema Club will head out on an anniversary tour of the United States next spring. As music outlet Consequence reported on October 23, the band is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its debut album 'Tourist History' and plans to play the record in full every night. The tour comprises 14 dates in May 2027. It opens on May 6 at the Riviera Theater in Chicago and closes on May 29 at The Bomb Factory in Dallas. Stops include the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and the Fox Theater in Oakland. In Salt Lake City the band will play the Kilby Block Party, while the Portland venue has yet to be announced.
Friendly Fires will open 12 of the 14 shows. In a statement, the band said, according to Consequence, that it had just finished some of the biggest US shows of its career and was now looking forward to playing venues at the top of its wish list. The group's album 'Keep on Smiling' was released in 2022.
