'Lucky Strike': German trailer for Scott Eastwood's WWII thriller shot in Bulgaria

Rod Lurie strands Scott Eastwood alone behind German lines in the Battle of the Bulge. It is released digitally on 29 October, followed by Leonine's Blu-ray on 13 November.

Leonine has released the German trailer for 'Lucky Strike'. The film is set in the winter of 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge: Captain John Castle (Scott Eastwood) is the sole survivor of an ambush behind enemy lines. Wounded and exposed to the cold, he has only his radio to stop a German armoured column and find a way back.

Rod Lurie, who previously directed Eastwood in 'The Outpost', is behind the camera; Colin Hanks and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor co-star. The film was shot in late 2024 at Nu Boyana Film Studios in Sofia. It opened in the US in June.

In Germany, 'Lucky Strike' skips cinemas: it is available to buy on Prime Video from 29 October, followed by Leonine's Blu-ray on 13 November.
