Several shots were fired at a bar in Berlin's Wilmersdorf district early on Saturday. Police said the shots struck the bar's front window at around 6:30 a.m., damaging the glass. Several people were inside at the time. No one was injured, according to police. An employee alerted officers.

Officers secured several cartridge cases on the pavement and the road in front of the bar. A police spokesperson declined to comment on possible suspects or a motive when asked by the Tagesspiegel newspaper. The investigation has been taken over by BAO Ferrum, a special unit of the Berlin State Criminal Police Office.

The unit was set up in November 2025 in response to a rise in gun crime in Berlin, Tagesspiegel reported. It focuses on violent groups and firearms offences. The investigation is ongoing.
