Tokio Hotel score their best placing on the official German albums chart in twelve years with 'Encore': number three. GfK Entertainment links the success to the upcoming 'Wetten, dass..?' comeback, which Bill and Tom Kaulitz will host in early December. Ahead of them are Ski Aggu with 'Ski Aggu Musik' at number one and Dublin rock band Fontaines D.C. with 'Dopamine Chamber' at number two.

Indie band Giant Rooks follow at number four with 'If Heaven Exists, This Might Be It', while Finnish melodic death metal band Insomnium land at number eight with 'Netherworlds'.

On the singles chart, Tate McRae takes the top spot for the first time with 'Housewife'. Shakira and Burna Boy follow with 'Dai Dai', while last week's winner Taylor Swift drops to number three with 'Patient Zero'. New entries include Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan with 'Expectations' (No 9) and Helene Fischer with 'Warum' (No 11).
