Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for 'Das Neinhorn'. The animated film is based on Marc-Uwe Kling's bestselling 2019 children's book of the same name. Kling, Johannes Weiland and Michael Sieber direct, and Kling co-wrote the screenplay with Marcus Sauermann; animation came in part from Studio Soi, which previously made 'The Gruffalo'.
The story: in the Heart Forest, a little unicorn is showered with love but answers everything with 'no'. Dubbed the NEINhorn, it sets off for 'Nowhere' to avoid any kind of adventure – and meets equally headstrong companions on the way.
Kling voices the title character himself. Other voices include Torsten Sträter as NaHund as well as Karoline Herfurth, Nora Tschirner, Carolin Kebekus and Hazel Brugger. The film opens in German cinemas on 1 January 2027.
