Football club CSKA Sofia is returning to its home ground. The first official match at the completely rebuilt Balgarska Armia stadium will be played on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 7:30 p.m. against Slavia Sofia in the 14th round of the First League, the club said on Saturday evening. CSKA expects confirmation from the Bulgarian Football Union by Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Ticket sales will be staggered: on Oct. 27, holders of 2025/26 season tickets will first be allowed to buy one ticket each, followed from Oct. 28 by all holders of a CSKA fan card. The club plans to announce prices and sales channels on Oct. 26. Tickets will also be sold for the Conference League home games against Trabzonspor on Nov. 26 and against Thun on Dec. 17, the BTA news agency reported.

The club acknowledges that important finishing work and tests of individual stadium systems are still under way and will continue after the Slavia match. Fans are asked to be patient and to arrive two hours before kickoff. The planned official opening ceremony is to take place at a later date.
