McLaren is taking final orders for the 750S. Production of the supercar will end in 2027, the British automaker confirmed, according to Auto Express and Carscoops on Oct. 8 and 9. The 750S arrived in 2023 as the successor to the 720S, which debuted at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The same platform also produced the 765LT, a GT3 race car and several low-volume and one-off specials.

The 750S's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 makes 750 PS (740 bhp), according to McLaren, and the car weighs 1,277 kilograms dry. About 30 percent of its parts are new compared with the 720S. McLaren unveiled the final special version, the 788HS, in July – with 788 PS and, according to Carscoops, 800 Nm, built as 100 coupes and 100 Spiders. "It will leave behind an extraordinary legacy," Chief Commercial Officer Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer said of the 750S.

What comes next is only partly clear. According to Auto Express, McLaren has confirmed that the hybrid V8 from the W1 hypercar will be used in the eventual successor. Carscoops, by contrast, reports that a model code-named P34 with a new hybrid V6 is expected to replace both the 750S and the Artura, which ends production in 2028.
