Horror studio Blumhouse unveiled new film projects at New York Comic Con. LaKeith Stanfield and Ben Mendelsohn will star in 'Molepeople,' the next film from Rob Savage, whose horror film 'Other Mommy' has just opened in US theaters. Nathan Elston wrote the script. The story follows a man who descends into the abandoned tunnels beneath New York and discovers a hidden society living there. Production is set to begin later this year.

Craig Zobel ('The Penguin,' 'Mare of Easttown') will also direct an adaptation of James Tynion IV's comic series 'Something Is Killing the Children,' in which shape-shifting monsters that only children can see descend on small towns. A live-action adaptation has been in development on and off for years; Tynion says he is much more directly involved this time.

Blumhouse also announced a film version of the horror video game 'Amanda the Adventurer,' teaming up with YouTuber MatPat.
