Alberto Gilardino faces a tough start at Parma: the successor to Carlos Cuesta, in charge since Sept. 29, makes his debut at San Siro against Inter Milan on Saturday (6 p.m. local time). "We are facing one of the strongest teams, we know that," Gilardino said. "I am fired up and positive."
Inter are level on 13 points with Roma and Lazio. Coach Cristian Chivu responded to talk of an anti-Inter camp in the title race: "Why don't we talk about anti-Roma, anti-Como, anti-Juve or anti-Milan, but always about anti-Inter?"
Chivu can again count on Djed Spence, who had been out for two months. "He is available, he will be called up and we are happy he is back," the coach said. Hakan Calhanoglu has been training with the team since Monday and is available.
