Max Verstappen has won the wet Singapore Sprint for Red Bull. A heavy thunderstorm delayed the start by around 30 minutes, with two laps behind the Safety Car. George Russell passed Verstappen at the start but hit the wall at the end of the first lap. Verstappen then led to the flag – his first Sprint win since Austin 2025.

Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc finished second and third, with championship leader Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) fourth. Liam Lawson, Oliver Bearman, Nico Hulkenberg (Audi) and Lando Norris also scored. Norris and team-mate Oscar Piastri collided on the final lap, putting Piastri out.

Only 13 cars were classified: Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez collided, Isack Hadjar and Franco Colapinto stopped with technical problems, and Alex Albon, Gabriel Bortoleto and Valtteri Bottas also failed to finish. Qualifying for the Grand Prix is scheduled for 15:00 CEST, with the race starting on Sunday at 14:00 CEST.
