Data for robot reasoning: AGIBOT opens a dataset – and has 110 humanoids dance

Chinese robot maker AGIBOT has released new open training data for robots that need to react to changing situations. Two days later, 110 humanoids danced in Jinan for a Guinness record.

On October 22, AGIBOT released the fourth edition of its AGIBOT WORLD 2026 dataset. The part titled "Physical Reasoning" is meant to help robots decide what to do when the situation around them changes: it records different paths to the same goal, pairs questions and answers with the robots' actual motion trajectories and covers nine reasoning abilities, including search, quantity judgement, memory and ordering subtasks – across three difficulty levels. The video presents the release.

It also contains failed attempts, for example when the wrong object was picked or a required quantity was missed – material for training systems to recognise their own mistakes. The data is on Hugging Face, but under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence, which rules out commercial use. AGIBOT says it is already using the data for an upcoming agent system and its next foundation model; the company gave no figures on improved success rates.

On October 24, AGIBOT had 110 Expedition A3 humanoids dance simultaneously at the Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center in Jinan, Shandong province, and a Guinness World Records representative presented a certificate. The company says the 1.75-metre robots came straight from series production. They were coordinated with the LinkBots fleet-control system and centimetre-accurate ultra-wideband positioning. They are to be used in tourism, exhibitions, research and education.
