Shortly before Sunday's presidential election, the polling agency Myara has released a new survey commissioned by Bulgarian National Radio (BNR). It shows 43.4% would vote for the ticket of Iliana Yotova and Valchev and 28.9% for Gyurov and Kandev. BNT published the figures on Thursday.

In third place are Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov and Petar Volgin with 10.2%. Ivelin Mihaylov and Yuliana Mateeva have 3.1%, Radostin Vasilev and Krasimir Manov 2.9%. Ivan Hristanov and Stoyanka Cherkezova are below 2%. The report does not include a turnout projection or a forecast for a possible run-off. The pollster surveyed 1,009 Bulgarian citizens aged 18 and over between 8 and 19 October in face-to-face tablet interviews and says the sample is nationally representative.
