Vans, the footwear and apparel brand owned by VF Corp., has unveiled its first collection with singer SZA. Called Vansza, it goes on sale on October 22. SZA was named the brand's artistic director in August 2025.
The focus is on reworked classics: the Knu Skool becomes a mule, while the Authentic Kickdown has a collapsible heel and artwork by Sage Adams. They are joined by a fleece set printed with a photorealistic image of a worn workwear jacket and loose denim pieces. "I love a mule and I love a slide-on," SZA said. A second drop follows on April 8, 2027.
India Sleem photographed the campaign in California, featuring skateboarder Zion Wright among others. A video in which Vans introduces SZA as artistic director can be seen on the Vans YouTube channel.
