Frederique Constant has unveiled a new version of its Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture. What is new is the sunray-finished burgundy dial, with the day at 9 o'clock, month and leap year at 12, date at 3 and moon phase at 6. The edition is limited to 100 pieces and, according to WatchTime, was shown at WatchTime New York at Gotham Hall from 16 to 18 October.
The stainless steel case measures 40 millimetres and houses the automatic calibre FC-776 with a 72-hour power reserve, which WatchTime describes as the brand's 34th in-house movement. Frederique Constant first introduced its in-house perpetual calendar in 2016; the case and movement are those of the 2025 generation.
WatchTime describes the edition as US-exclusive, supplied with two alligator leather straps in black and burgundy. An introduction video on the Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture can be seen on Frederique Constant's YouTube channel.
