The 21st Festa del Cinema di Roma runs until 25 October. On Saturday, Javier Bardem received a lifetime achievement award from director Paolo Sorrentino, wearing a black suit, white shirt and black tie. Deva Cassel, who leads Alexandre Castagnetti's 'Le Fantôme de l'Opéra', wore a long black gown scattered with sparkling points of light, with a deep V-neckline and an asymmetric draped skirt, paired with a low chignon.
Jenna Ortega, who stars in Taika Waititi's adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro's 'Klara and the Sun', arrived in a long, fitted floral gown in champagne, beige and sage green with a small train, worn with a gold necklace with a cross pendant. Waititi himself went all black in a double-breasted suit.
Designer looks had already shaped the carpet earlier in the week: according to Sky TG24, Vittoria Puccini wore a velvet coat dress from Jonathan Anderson's autumn/winter 2026-27 collection for Dior, and Mariasole Pollio a long Blumarine gown with three-dimensional fabric flowers and Damiani jewellery. Actor Ruaridh Mollica ('VisionQuest') wore a dark Thom Browne suit with matte sequins and a grid pattern of pearls.
