After her decision win over Erin Blanchfield at UFC Edmonton, Jasmine Jasudavicius named her next target. "I want to cross paths with Natalia Silva again. We had a little bit of history before, so it would be an epic story," the Canadian said, according to NY Fights. Silva beat her by decision in 2022 in her second UFC fight and won the vacant women's flyweight title at UFC 332 on 3 October.

According to NY Fights, Jasudavicius has won seven of her last eight UFC fights, her only loss in that span a knockout by Manon Fiorot in October 2025. Against Blanchfield, who according to CBS Sports was the favourite and had been named by champion Silva as a possible challenger, all three judges scored it 29-28 in her favour.

Whether an immediate title shot follows is open. CBS Sports puts Jasudavicius in the division's top five after the win but sees Alexa Grasso as the more likely next challenger. NY Fights also names Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko as competition in the title race.
