Dieter Thomas Kuhn & Band will leave the stage in summer 2027 after more than three decades – and have announced three more concerts for the occasion. Under the title 'Und dann sagt man sich Goodbye' ('And then you say goodbye'), they will now play Hamburg's Stadtpark on July 16, Munich's Tollwood Summer Festival on July 18 and Berlin's Waldbühne on August 5. Already confirmed were July 24 at Stuttgart's MHP Arena and two nights at the Waldbühne on August 6 and 7, which the promoter says are sold out.
The Eventim presale for the new dates starts on Wednesday, October 14, at 10am, with general sale on Friday, October 16. The promoter calls it the 'final expansion of the tour' – no further dates are planned.
The band formed in Tübingen in the early 1990s, playing ironic versions of German schlager classics, with flared trousers and sunflowers as trademarks. On October 9 it released the album 'Gute Laune mit Posaune', recorded with the SWR Big Band.
