The Canadian was regarded as the modern voice of the Looney Tunes and won three Children's & Family Emmys. His family announced his death on Instagram.

Canadian voice actor Eric Bauza has died suddenly at the age of 46. His family announced his death in a brief statement on Instagram, describing him as the 'modern voice' of the Looney Tunes characters. His manager Judy Coppage told CBS News that his sudden passing 'is a shock to all of us'.

Born in Scarborough, Toronto, Bauza voiced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety, Elmer Fudd and other classics in recent years – including in the series 'Looney Tunes Cartoons', in 'Space Jam: A New Legacy' and most recently in 'Coyote vs. Acme'. In total he had more than 400 voice credits, among them 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' and 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'.

He won three Children's & Family Emmys for his work. Warner Bros. executive Channing Dungey recalled his 15 years at Warner Bros. Animation and called him a treasured colleague, according to Filmofilia.
