Intimissimi is looking back on the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, held from 2 to 12 September 2026, with a "Rewind" video. According to FashionUnited, the Italian lingerie brand, part of the Oniverse group, returned as an official sponsor of the festival. The magazine nss said it was the brand's second appearance on the red carpet at the Lido. For the opening night, Intimissimi staged a presentation in which several models wore custom-made gowns.
At its centre was the "Nude Look" capsule: three dresses made from the brand's own Ultralight with Cashmere knit, lace and tulle. The theme was transparency through layering, with bustiers, bodysuits and shaping pieces styled as part of the outfit rather than underneath it. Alessandra Ambrosio wore a long gown with a silk corset and silk belt, Stella Maxwell layered lace with a balconette bustier. Faretta Radic appeared in a dress in "Macaron Rose" with a sequinned corset, joined by Alana Lucio and Emi Renata in tulle gowns.
The appearance matched the mood of the festival: FashionUnited called lingerie as outerwear the trend of the edition. Guests dressed by other houses also chose corsetry and slip dresses, among them Emilia Schüle in a Dior slip dress and Carolina Cavalli in an archival Giorgio Armani gown from spring 2008. Bianca Balti arrived in a pink satin gown with a corset bodice and feathered wings by Ilya Migmoon. According to nss, the Ultralight fabric is made in one of the company's own factories.
