Serbia will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 in Bulgaria. Public broadcaster RTS confirmed this to the German-language fan site ESC kompakt, Novini.bg reported on 21 October, citing the BTA news agency. Rumours of a withdrawal had circulated in recent weeks because RTS, unlike in previous years, had not opened entries for its national selection by September. How the Serbian entry will be chosen remains open.

The contest takes place at Arena Burgas on the Black Sea: semi-finals on 11 and 13 May, final on 15 May 2027. Bulgaria is hosting because DARA won in Vienna in 2026 with 'Bangaranga'. In mid-October the government approved an additional transfer of over €4.8 million to the city of Burgas, among other things for a test event and the technical preparation of the arena. For the Eurovision Village, the city is proposing the site of the former Magaziya 7 port warehouse.

The Czech Republic will not take part: broadcaster Česká televize is pulling out because of budget cuts. Ireland's RTÉ has also withdrawn, and Spain's participation is uncertain. The Netherlands, however, are returning, and Canada will make its debut in 2027.
