Texas Instruments (TI) reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $6.06 billion, up 28% from the same period a year earlier. Net income rose 78% to $2.43 billion and earnings per share climbed 77% to $2.62, the chipmaker said on Wednesday.
Chief Executive Haviv Ilan said revenue increased 11% from the previous quarter. Growth was broad-based across the industrial, automotive and data centre markets, he said. Ilan attributed trailing 12-month cash flow from operations of $9.9 billion partly to the benefits of 300-millimetre wafer production.
Over the past 12 months, TI said it invested $4.0 billion in research and development and in selling, general and administrative expenses, as well as $2.6 billion in capital expenditures, and returned $5.8 billion to shareholders. For the fourth quarter, the company forecast revenue of between $5.8 billion and $6.3 billion. Earnings per share are expected to range from $2.45 to $2.79.
