Jihin Radzuan has called for a third fight after her unanimous decision loss to Itsuki Hirata at ONE Samurai 4 at Tokyo's Ariake Arena on October 17. "Of course, now it's one-one. Why not?" the 28-year-old Malaysian told onefc.com. "As a fighter, I don't really like to fight the same opponent every single time, but let's do it. Let's do the trilogy." In their first meeting at ONE X in March 2022, Radzuan won by split decision, handing Hirata her first professional loss.
Radzuan admitted she should have shown more urgency and read Hirata better: "I think I should work more on the grappling part." Her striking, she said, was there. She was surprised by the Japanese crowd: fans stopped her at the hotel for photos and autographs.
Her real target is the title: on December 2, Chihiro Sawada and Anastasia Nikolakakos fight for the vacant ONE Women's Atomweight MMA World Title at ONE Samurai 6; Radzuan fought Nikolakakos in July. "I have my eyes on the upcoming belt fight," she said. Until then, she wants to prove herself a worthy contender.
