Bosch Rexroth (drives and hydraulics) will cut about 370 jobs in central functions and purchasing in Germany by the end of 2030. Its headquarters is in Lohr am Main (Bavaria) with about 5,000 staff. About 80 new purchasing jobs will be created abroad. The company promises cuts 'as socially responsible as possible'. Thermo Fisher is moving about 85 jobs from Bremen to Brno (Czech Republic) and cutting just over 60 in Langenselbold (Hesse). Bremen staff held a warning strike. Late addition: Groz-Beckert will cut 120 jobs in Albstadt (Baden-Württemberg) by the end of 2027.

No new investments with an exact amount and location were reported. The table total stays at EUR 9.37bn, while announced job cuts rise from 5,929 to 6,564. The economy ministry is keeping the list of the 70 summit projects back (an 'internal document'). According to ifo, it is unclear how much of it is really new. At the GTC conference in Berlin, Nvidia gave no amounts for Germany.

New data: the Bundesbank no longer expects any growth in the third quarter. The economy should pick up 'noticeably' in the fourth. Low water on the Rhine and expensive energy are holding it back. Germany imported goods worth just over EUR 0.5bn from Russia in the first half of 2026 – 96.4% less than in 2021. Exports fell 73.1% to EUR 3.4bn (Federal Statistical Office).
