Manchester City host Paris St Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday (1900 GMT), with the club saying former manager Pep Guardiola will be at the Etihad Stadium. It is City's first home game since an independent commission found the club guilty of breaching Premier League financial rules in late September. Successor Enzo Maresca is counting on the crowd: "Hopefully tomorrow night can be special too."
PSG coach Luis Enrique praised a City side unbeaten at the top of the Premier League. The holders, who won the competition in 2025 and 2026, expect a meeting of two teams that always look to attack. Asked about goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who moved from Paris to Manchester, he said: "I'm very fond of Gigio Donnarumma."
Erling Haaland's fitness is uncertain after he was substituted during Norway's Nations League game against Portugal, according to media reports. The Norwegian has 59 goals in 59 Champions League appearances, and one more would draw him level with Ruud van Nistelrooy on 60.
