Tights as the autumn trend: from sheer black to cobalt blue
Fashion magazines are hailing tights as the styling tool of the season. Calzedonia has devoted a guide video to sheer tights.

This autumn, tights are more than a way to keep warm. Grazia's US edition wrote on 10 October that after years of black, bold colours are returning, of the kind Mary Quant paired with miniskirts in the 1960s. It names cobalt blue, cherry red, purple and mustard yellow. According to the magazine, Hermès showed sheer styles in maroon, olive and mustard, purple dominated the autumn collections of Prada and Miu Miu, and mustard yellow appeared at Alaïa and Dior.
Elle rounded up the season's key variations on 12 October. Sheer and semi-sheer black remains "the dependable classic", joined by opaque chocolate brown, lace, burgundy and pink. Pink is now as wearable as black or navy, writer Natalia Trejo noted. Street-style images from the fashion weeks serve as examples.
Manufacturers are leaning into the theme too. Italian hosiery brand Calzedonia has published a guide video on its YouTube channel about sheer tights for different occasions. In addition, on 12 October Heidi Klum shared images on Instagram from a new Calzedonia campaign in which, according to theFashionSpot, she pairs a burgundy blazer with floral-patterned lace tights.
