Floyd Schofield made the 135-pound lightweight limit only at the second attempt before his fight with Lucas Bahdi, SportsGrid reports. Bahdi weighed 134 pounds. The two unbeaten fighters – Schofield is 19-0, Bahdi 20-0 – meet for the vacant WBA title at Chicago's Wintrust Arena on Saturday night US time, live on DAZN.

In the second title fight of the night, Ricardo Sandoval defends his WBA and WBC flyweight belts against Sergio Mendoza. According to FIGHTMAG, they came in at 111.6 and 111.4 pounds respectively.

Schofield is already looking ahead: "Zepeda is the fight I'm looking for next, and if not Zepeda, then Mason or Gary Antuanne Russell," he told The Ring. William Zepeda is the WBC lightweight champion and Abdullah Mason holds the WBO title.
